KRYSTAL GORMAN

For Cecil County Council District 3

My Vision for Cecil County

Unity Over Division

Our community is strongest when we work together. I will:

  • Foster respectful dialogue across neighborhoods and backgrounds
  • Prioritize solutions over political games
  • Ensure every voice has a seat at the table

“We don’t move forward by fighting each other — we move forward together.”

Addressing the Cost of Living Crisis

Families are feeling squeezed. Housing, utilities, food, and transportation costs are rising faster than wages. I will:

  • Review county fees and policies that unnecessarily increase costs
  • Promote economic policies that strengthen household financial stability

“We must build a county where working families can afford to live.”

Bringing Better-Paying Jobs to Our County

The cost of living continues to rise while wages from major corporations lag behind. That imbalance hurts working families. I will:

  • Support small and local businesses that reinvest in our community
  • Actively recruit industries that provide competitive wages
  • Incentivize companies that commit to fair pay and workforce development
  • Partner with trade schools and workforce programs to build career pathways

“Our residents deserve jobs that allow them to thrive — not just survive.”

Building a More Accessible & Connected County

We need a county that is easier to navigate, safer to walk, and more efficient to travel. I will:

  • Work to Expand and improve public transportation options
  • Invest in pedestrian-friendly infrastructure
  • Support smart growth that reduces congestion

“Strong infrastructure supports strong communities.”

Fixing the Municipal Water Issues

Clean, reliable water is not optional — it’s essential. I will:

  • Conduct a transparent review of our current water systems
  • Prioritize long-term infrastructure solutions over temporary fixes
  • Ensure residents are informed about water quality and system updates
  • Seek state and federal funding opportunities for upgrades

“Our families deserve safe and dependable water.”

Full Transparency & Accountability

Government should work for the people — not behind closed doors. As your representative, I commit to:

  • Clear reporting on how tax dollars are spent
  • Regular public updates and open forums
  • Ethical decision-making and financial accountability
  • Making county data more accessible to residents

“Trust is built through transparency.”

Why I’m Running

I am running for Cecil County Council District 3 because I believe in a community where every neighbor is heard and represented.

As a caregiver, I understand the importance of compassion, responsibility, and showing up for others. I believe we can help our community grow responsibly while still holding onto the small-town feel that makes Cecil County so special.

I’ve been listening to concerns about pedestrian accessibility, reliable transportation, and the rising cost of living while wages fall behind. These are real challenges, and together, we can find solutions that work.

I’m not in this for titles, I simply want to serve and help Cecil County become the best version of itself.

We stand stronger together, and I would truly appreciate your support.
